From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by Matt and Miriam - the barn was lit and the wood burning stove was on, perfect for a cold February evening. The barn is spacious, immaculately clean and well appointed - everything we needed for a family week away, and more. It's in a beautiful location and the children had a lovely time playing in the wooded garden. We can't recommend it highly enough!

We have just returned from our fourth visit to Alder Barn and each time feels better than the last. We arrived to a beautifully clean and welcoming space and Matt had even turned on the underfloor heating in time for our arrival, ensuring the house was warm and inviting! Not one for clichés but I have to say that Alder Barn really is the "complete package" for the abled and disabled alike. A rare find, nothing has been forgotten to make the house accessible and easy to enjoy. And of course the peace and quiet of its surrounds is a constant delight! We would not hesitate to highly recommend Alder Barn. Thank you Matt and Miriam for your wonderful hospitality. We look forward to seeing you again in July!
